Neal Mohan took the stage to announce an exciting update to the YouTube Partner Program so that Shorts creators can start monetising their content after they reach 1,000 subscribers and 10 million Shorts views over the span of 90 days. This will allow creators — short or long-form — to earn money no matter what format their content thrives in. The Google division showcased the new initiatives during an hour-long presentation called Made on YouTube.
